McLaren Artura: Important factors to consider – Anyone who has been waiting on purchasing a McLaren, IRS has added a McLaren model to the list of vehicles that are eligible for the plug-in electric drive motor vehicle credit. Internal Revenue Code Sec. 30D(a) provides a credit to the purchaser of a qualified plug-in electric drive motor vehicles including passenger vehicles and light trucks (“qualifying vehicles”). The Code Sec. 30D(a) credit is equal to $2,500 (Code Sec. 30D(b)(2)) plus an additional amount, based on battery capacity, that cannot exceed $5,000.
The McLaren Artura has been added to the list of vehicles eligible for this tax credit.
